Range: Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Mexico and Central America.

Hosts:  Adults feed on Asteraceae, Fabaceae, Malvaceae. 

Similar Species

There are 144 species of Acmaeodera, mostly in the southwestern United States (Arnett et al. 2002). 

Texas Taxa: Over 40 species have been recorded in Texas.
