Range: Eastern half of the United States (Arnett et al, 1980).
Biology: Larvae are predators that forage in the leaf litter (Miller, 1988).
Similar Species: There are 149 species of Calopteron found throughout the New World, three are found forth of Mexico (Arnett et al, 2002).
