Seven spp. are possibly endemic to Texas.
Specimens primarily shot from the
ERGC,
OSUC,
TAMUIC, TORC and the
UTIC collections
Pachy identification is complicated by a generally high level of intraspecific variation in color,
and to some extent, in sculpture. Also, most species show strong sexual dimorphism. (Riley et al. 2002)
