Range: Northeast and Central Texas south to Mexico (Burke et al. 1994, Monné & Hovore 2002)
Adult Activity:
March to June, September to December
Relatively abundant in both spring and fall in south Texas (Hovore et al. 1987)
Larval Hosts:
Prosopis & Acacia (Linsley 1963)
Leucaena (Hovore & Penrose 1982)
Similar Species:
There are 23 species of Stenosphenus (Monné & Hovore 2005), but only five reach the United States (Arnett et al. 2002)
