Flight Period: Specimens from every month except October & December in the TAMUIC.
Host: This species feeds on members of the gourd family Cucurbitaceae
Similar Species:
This genus includes more than 60 described species. (Arnett et al. 2002).
However only two range north of Mexico:Paranapiacaba connexa (J. L. LeConte, 1865) - TX / Mex.
Paranapiacaba tricincta (Say, 1824) - AZ, Co, KS, NM, SD, TX, UT, WY / Mex.
